The Taimen Camps

All of our 9 camps across northern Mongolia are situated at strategically favorable locations on the banks of the major and most productive Taimen rivers. - From the high Altai Mountains in the West, through the wild Eastern Sayan Mountains in the North, to the endless green hills of vast Manchuria in the East ...

Some of these camps are just seasonal and erected from native yurta-gers, like our spring camp in the Altai Mountains, where the productive fishing period is rather short at the opening of season in Mongolia. - But most of our camps from the pioneer times in Mongolia are built traditionally as solid log-cabins, and are fully equipped with cozy wood-stoves, warm showers, an independent power supply, a stylish dining room, and a large kitchen for the native staff.

From these Taimen base camps, which could be rightly called "Fishing Lodges", we are fishing for large trophy-class Taimen for more than 20 years now, and we are proud of a long list of clients and record-class fish in our books.

Most of our Taimen Camps are situated within vast Mongolian National Parks, and always at the gates to the wilderness, with many legendary Taimen pools in short walking distance. From here, the adventurous sportsman and fishing guest may use our hunting cabins along the river, for camping at remote Taimen pools, to be reached easily by rafting down the river, or by horses with our guides and native horsemen on well-maintained trails ...

Our Taimen Base Camps are fully equipped with camping gear, horses, rafts, tents, and with an off-road vehicle to reach even other Taimen rivers nearby in the region. The native Mongolian staff lives at our camps or in the next settlement, they take pride in caring for the comfort of our fishing guests, and they are the most essential and loyal part of our team since many years now.

The Mongolian Rangers and the mounted Guards of the Mongolian / Siberian Borders are using our Taimen Camps as their outposts, and they are actively supported by us in their work for the protection of the big game, the wild Mongolian rivers, and of the giant Mongolian Taimen, the grand fish of the wilderness.

It shall be our pleasure, to give You a warm welcome and to serve You with our Mongolian and East-European hospitality at one of our legendary Taimen Camps in the outback of wild Mongolia ...
